The band hall is located at Blacktown Showground, Richmond Rd, Blacktown, NSW 2148 Practice is conducted on Monday nights commencing at 6:30pm for learners and 7:30pm for the band. |
| Band History | The City of Blacktown Pipe Band has been Blacktown’s pipe band since 1985. Formerly the St John’s Ambulance Pipes and Drums, the band has been a part of the Blacktown community since 1975. Over the years the band has represented Blacktown on the national and international stage in both competition and in support of major performing artists. Members of the band regularly participate in Military Tattoos in Australia and overseas, including the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo in Scotland. |
